Life changes constantly. It moves along. Some days, like a Colorado white water river rafting experience, some days like a meandering slow glide of an Ohio river canal in the summer. There are components to each day, some in our control, and some not. Today is like a slow glide.

Go to work. Set up my coffee. Drink it down as I view my three monitors with work. Engage the first users in chat and then remote on their computers. Wait for the caffeine to kick in.

You see, peace of mind isn’t something you win, it’s something you protect. It gives your day a full context of the peaks and valleys, metaphorically speaking. Preceding the arrival at work was praying for others on the way to the office.

Here’s the thing. Where do you get your inner peace? Where do you find solace and purpose? I journal and use my thoughts to inspire more from me. It is all in the life of the stream, and I don’t mean entertainment platforms.

I suggest each one of us finds the components of focus and balance. Bring our sphere of our worlds into a positive place of existence. So, at the end of the day, we are grateful and thankful for our lives. Yes, some lives are more complex than others. Yes, there are barriers to contentment. But we each must find our way. See it and grasp it.

I am currently writing a devotional/journal for men. I know my journey is not the same as everyone else’s. But I think I am finding the balance. I am finding the consistency of knowing who I am and why I am here. I hope to reflect that in the pages I write. I will keep you updated on this project.
